Full Service Outfitter

We are a 'Full Service Outfitter" from our one location. Kevlar Plus Deluxe, Fly-in Canoe Trips and Boat & Motor Base Camping Packages all features the ultimate in quality, equipment and food. Ultra-light canoes including We-No-Nah, Old Town, Grumman & Alumacraft. Complete or partial outfitting. Headstart launch service to transport you, your equipment and canoes to any location possible, saving a days paddle. Private overnight accommodations. "Hot" shower facilities. Special group rates. Personalized routing catering to fisherman, families, groups or wilderness lovers. Beginners will get that little extra help that we welcome the opportunity to give. Our Saganaga Lake Store offers a variety of convenience items including souvenirs.

Reservations

The Boundary Waters Canoe Area and the Quetico Park are both on a quota system, so it's advisable to make early reservations. Reserved permits are sent to our base and will be issued to you upon arrival.

"Headstart" Launch (Tow) Service On Saganaga Lake

Available at our dock. We operate our own tow boats that will carry passengers, gear and canoes. The boats are designed to carry your canoes on top with a special carrying rack. It will save you one day of paddling to all points on Saganaga Lake, Cache Bay (Quetico Park) or Northern Light Lake; two days on a round trip.

We offer great packages for groups of 10 or more, including Scout Troops, Youth and Church Groups. It includes our Ultra-Lightweight equipment and food. We treat large groups just like any other party, your group is special here at Superior North.
